Clip on edge bead
Clip-on edge bead for 12.5mm plasterboard. For a perfectly clean finish to plasterboard that eliminates skim plaster cracking where it butts up to another material such as window and door frames. And is a must where the end of a dry lining board is visible.
If yours is a timber or steel frame building using 12.5mm dry lining or acoustic board and you have the timber or steel frame visible, use this bead everywhere the frame comes into contact with the board you're using. It will allow for settling, and movement, and give you a perfect surface for compriband. If you're in the trade working on timber frame homes, using a clip on edge bead in this way will reduce costly callbacks. If you're a timber frame homeowner and use these beads where the timber and board meet, you will be creating a long-lasting, practical, robust joint that will look as good in the years to come as it did when you made it.

This PVC profile can also be used as a casing bead for other 12.5mm boards but please note it only has a skim stop so will not be suitable for 6mm render finishes. Supplied in white only it can be painted. Just apply a PVC primer, then you can use any waterbased paint to get a great finish.
